Calvin decided he wanted to start ice skating to school. Today was the first day he did. The trip is 1.5 miles one way across the frozen lake, and it took him 15 minutes to skate that distance today. His high school owns a small lake lot, which is a great place to change from skates back to shoes to walk the rest of the way.
