Dan and Jen drove Jen’s electric car today to drop our kids off at different week long camps. We took Trevor to Milwaukee and Calvin to Stevens Point. After dropping off Calvin, we charged up at a nearby charging station. It was the coolest charging station we have found so far in Jen’s four months of owning a battery electric car.
The solar panels above the chargers capture solar energy which is dumped onto the electric grid, and actually more power is put on the grid than the car chargers take off the grid (according to a sign on the property).
